The club does not draft defensive linemen, but it prices everything they touch. PFF published its defensive line rankings for the season this week, and the top of the table is a map of where passing offenses go to be audited: the Rams first, the Texans and Steelers just behind, the Eagles' interior a category of its own. The bottom of the table is where the club actually makes money.

### The audit offices

Los Angeles added Myles Garrett to a front that already employed Byron Young and Kobie Turner — a trio PFF credits with 227 pressures last season, before the league's best pass rusher joined the firm. Houston's pair of Will Anderson and Danielle Hunter were the only teammates in football to both earn PFF pass-rush grades above 90, and Pittsburgh still fields three edge players — Watt, Herbig, Highsmith — who each cleared forty pressures. The fantasy translation is discipline, not panic: quarterbacks and pass-catchers who visit these buildings are not fades, but their weekly range widens, and the club sizes accordingly. Sunday plays against elite fronts are for rosters that can afford variance.

### The soft spots

Arizona and Atlanta close the table, and Atlanta's situation is close to structural: one young edge suspended for half the season, another lost to a torn ACL before it began. Offenses on those schedules get a quiet tailwind the market has not fully priced — quarterbacks streamed against the Falcons will be a house special through November, and opposing lines that keep quarterbacks clean produce the clean pockets from which target ledgers compound. The Rams defense, meanwhile, is priced in fantasy drafts like a good unit rather than the league's best front; the club notes the discount without needing to shout about it.
