XV

The West spent its offseason on coordinators the way other divisions spend on players — Eric Bieniemy back in Kansas City, Mike McDaniel resurfacing as Jim Harbaugh's play-caller, Klint Kubiak taking over the Raiders entirely. The results will decide more fantasy seasons than any signing below.

- Kansas CityThe ReunionBieniemy's return is the league's most sentimental hire and its most scrutinized: last year's offense broke when Patrick Mahomes tore his ACL, and though he is cleared and pointing at Week 1, Rashee Rice at 14.8 — taken a full round early in one expert room — is the price where optimism gets expensive. Kenneth Walker gives the offense its first true early-down hammer in years and is the piece we'd rather own.
- Los AngelesOdd CoupleJim Harbaugh's power running meets Mike McDaniel's speed-in-space, with David Njoku the veteran red-zone addition. Omarion Hampton at 23.2 must first shake genuine backfield competition; Ladd McConkey's price still reflects the rookie year, not the quieter second season. Interesting laboratory, unproven products.
- DenverThe AccelerationTrading for Jaylen Waddle is Sean Payton buying speed for a quarterback the building believes in, with a first-time coordinator in Davis Webb executing Payton's system. Waddle's price hasn't caught up to the target quality he'll inherit; he's the division's cleanest buy.
- Las VegasOne More ChapterKlint Kubiak inherits Ashton Jeanty in an offense the projections grade among the league's worst, and Kirk Cousins, 38, arrives to keep the operation respectable. Brock Bowers at 35.5 transcends all of it — target hogs at tight end forgive many sins. Jeanty at 15.1 forgives none; see the Fade List.

In this division, draft the coordinators' favorite players, not the owners' favorite names.
